We are currently inviting applications for both roles at L'Arche Manchester. We are looking for people to join the existing teams who support young women with various learning disabilities, helping them to participate in the L’Arche community and their local neighbourhoods. You will be involved in providing intimate personal care, household tasks and recreational activities and celebrations. The role includes team and lone working. You need to be able to practice and show how you hear, value and respect people, whatever their skills and support needs. We are an ecumenical Christian community that welcome people of all faiths and none. If you are hoping to develop your spiritual life there will be opportunities through regular reflection, prayer and retreats. Salary £10 per hour, £19,500 per annum full-time Or, live-in as part of the community, with board and accommodation provided and a year one stipend wage of £70 per week, increasing in subsequent years.
