Do you believe that you must be the change you wish to see in the world?

If you want to build a better world and more human society, then L’Arche is the place to be!

L’Arche Manchester is a vibrant, growing, faith-based community of people with and without learning disabilities as well as a professional support and care provider.

We work toward a society where all belong regardless of ability or disability in which each person and their gifts are celebrated and valued. Relationship, friendship and celebration are central to our life together.

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals who share these aims.

Currently we have vacancies for non-residential ('live-out') assistants.

The role involves supporting people with learning disabilities at home and in our daytime support activities; supporting people to be part of their Community, enabling them to maximise their independence through the acquisition of new skills and increased social integration.

We are offering short-term and permanent positions.

There are vacancies for full-time roles but we are also interested in hearing from you if you're looking for part-time hours.

Full training and induction for the role will be given on commencement of employment. LDQ/NVQ level 3 or Diploma in Health and Social Care is an advantage.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 4th August 2020 with interviews on 6th and 7th August 2020.
