L’Arche Manchester is a community of more than 60 people with and without learning disabilities. It is a place of belonging where people with learning disabilities can live fulfilled and connected lives. We’re looking for someone to join us as our Registered Manager, a post which requires registration with the Care Quality Commission. Our expanding accommodation services, which currently support 12 people with learning disabilities directly, have been assessed as overall outstanding. We seek opportunities to improve and develop.

You will lead a small supportive team of 3 House Leaders. Together you will ensure that we provide and develop high quality person-centred care, supporting the practical, social and spiritual needs of those who call L’Arche home. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we’re looking to increase choice for the people we already support and prepare to open a new house.

Knowledge and experience in care or supported housing is a key requirement for this role, but we’re also looking for someone with an enthusiasm for our values and the ability to inspire others.
