We are looking for someone to support existing volunteers in the community, recruit new volunteers and identify volunteering opportunities for the core members (people with learning disability) living in the community.

Do you believe that you must be the change you wish to see in the world?

If you want to build a better world and more human society, then L’Arche is the place to be!

L’Arche Manchester is a vibrant, growing, faith-based community of people with and without learning disabilities as well as a professional support and care provider (judged as Outstanding by the CQC). We have 4 houses where people are supported to live as part of their wider community and we have an established café and a developing garden project.

We work toward a society where all belong – regardless of ability or disability – in which each person and their gifts are celebrated and valued. Relationship, friendship and celebration are central to our life together.

Proud to be part of an international federation of L’Arche communities across the world, we are also deeply rooted in our home city of Manchester. You can see just some of what we do on our website: www.larche.org.uk/manchester

Applicants are asked to complete the application form on the website, outlining why you feel you meet the person specification for this role.
